Call for Speaker Presentations.

Call for Speaker Presentations for the upcoming virtual Cybersecurity session as part of the Partnership for Global Sustainability (PGS) Workshop – Technical Interchange Meeting (TIM) series, held January 27 from 10:00 am – 1:00pm EST.

CPI Systems (CMMC RPO) is co-chairing this session with Aerospace Corp, in collaboration with Florida Tech and funding host ITB, Inc. This workshop series was managed by ITB, Inc and funded by NASA from 2003 through 2017.

The workshop will likely consist of Intro, Keynote (20 min) and 4-5 technical presentations (20 min + Q/A, and 1-2 student presentations. Technical presenters would present within the subject: Cybersecurity (to include Critical Infrastructure Protection, Industrial Control Systems Cybersecurity at Space Related Ground Facilities)

If interested, please provide a brief abstract for session presentations by January 8, 2021. Speaker decisions will be made by January 15. The workshop is January 27 from 10:00 am – 1:00pm EST. The Keynote is planned for 10:20-10:40 am.

Virtual Partnership for Global Sustainability (PGS) Workshop – January 27, 2021
Cybersecurity (to include Critical Infrastructure Protection, Industrial Control Systems Cybersecurity at Space Related Ground Facilities)

Space systems and their associated infrastructure and ground systems may be vulnerable to multiple types of natural and manmade threats. Critical Infrastructure can be defined as that handling essential goods (e.g. water, energy, food, confidential information) and/or services. A central part of ensuring a sustainable space sector is the identification and mitigation of threats to critical infrastructure and data systems. This session will discuss systems engineering and risk assessment techniques, threats and solutions to critical infrastructure, water, energy, cyber and data security for the space sector and the prioritization of investments to address resilience under uncertainty.
